Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Bell Person to welcome arriving guests and assist with luggage transport across our Miami Beach properties. This fast-paced, guest-facing role requires standing, lifting, and outdoor work, with shifts including weekends and holidays.

Prior hotel or retail customer service experience is preferred. Responsibilities include tagging and storing luggage, guiding guests to staff, handling inquiries, and maintaining professional appearance and service

Qualifications

• Professional verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including dealing with difficult guests.
• Reading and writing abilities to complete departmental records and logs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and acknowledge all arriving guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Transport luggage to and from guest rooms.
• Secure, tag and store luggage at guest’s request.
• Direct guests to appropriate hotel staff for assistance with questions and special requests regarding food, laundry, concierge services, or housekeeping.
• Respond appropriately to guest complaints. Inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances or dissatisfied guests.
• Promote hotel facilities, outlets, and services to guests and provide information to guests regarding local attractions and activities.
• Treat requests with professionalism, tact, and a courteous manner.
• Adhere to uniform and grooming standards.
• Perform other duties as requested by management
