Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental delays and behavioral health challenges.

The role offers pay between $21 and $25 per hour with flexible morning, afternoon, and evening hours. This position includes benefits such as health, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or one year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social and communication skills and reduce behavioral challenges.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

• Document child progress and milestones
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with children with special needs
• Strong communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required
