Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Behavioral Technician to work one-on-one with children and/or adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental and behavioral health challenges in Arizona.

You will help clients improve social and communication skills, document progress, and implement behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts, with flexible morning, afternoon and evening hours.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology/education or 1 year experience with children in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow and implement behavior change plans created by our Board Certified Behavior Analysts.
