Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Technician to provide one-on-one care for children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar needs. You will help develop social and communication skills and document progress under supervision of licensed staff.

Responsibilities include implementing behavior plans, maintaining progress records, and collaborating with the care team. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities for professional development and college tuition

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioural science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work one-on-one with clients.

Responsibilities

• Help children work on social and communication skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Document child progress and milestones.
• Follow behavior plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

Qualifications:

• Passion for working with children with special needs
• Strong communication skills
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Completion of college coursework in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development, or a minimum of one year experience working with children in the following capacities: Child Development, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician required
