Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs. You will work one-on-one with students, implement behavior plans, and contribute to data collection and progress tracking as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Experience implementing behavioral interventions in an educational setting is preferred.
High school diploma required; supportive classroom experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP.
Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
Record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
Use behavior support and intervention strategies to promote positive outcomes.
Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management when needed.
Provide personal care support as required by the student.
Communicate effectively with parents and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
