Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support K-12 students with intensive behavioral needs within in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will work one-on-one with a student, help implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic student growth. Qualifications

• Experience in educational settings implementing behavioral interventions preferred.
• High school diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet IEP goals and provide accommodations.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans and record data on behaviors and progress.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies to support student success.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and crisis management when needed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment and monitor students during transitions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
