Job summary

SESI Schools is seeking a dedicated paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs within in-district classrooms or standalone schools. You will work one-on-one with students, implement behavior plans, collect data, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help students meet IEP goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions preferred, for students with intensive needs.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP, providing accommodations as needed.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior plans and record data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Utilize behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during movement to and from locations.
