Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

Under supervision, you will implement behavioral plans, track data, and provide one-on-one support to help students develop life skills and positive behaviors within an inclusive learning environment. • Experience implementing behavioral interventions in educational settings for students with intensive needs.

Responsibilities

• Work one on one with an assigned student to meet goals in their IEP, providing accommodations as necessary.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement behavior support plans; record and track data on behaviors, progress toward goals, and incidents.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports social and behavioral growth.
• Supervise students and ensure safety and monitoring during school activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
