Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs under an IEP. You will work one-on-one and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement behavior plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in educational settings implementing behavioral interventions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP.
• Assist in developing and modifying behavior support plans.
• Record and track data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Use de-escalation techniques and crisis management when needed.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
