Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician to provide essential peer and operational support to patients at our Milford, DE site. This on-site, per-diem role reports to the Director of Operations and emphasizes patient safety, supervision, and collaboration with nursing and therapy teams.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients, conducting safety checks, performing vital signs, UDS and pregnancy testing, and offering emotional support while coordinating

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Safe driving record with a clean DMV report for the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to comply with motor vehicle insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients and facility grounds, conduct safety checks, and coordinate with medical staff.
• Conduct vital sign checks, UDS and pregnancy testing per policy.
• Provide emotional support and refer clinical concerns to therapy staff as needed.
• Communicate patient needs to Team Leader and Operations Director, supporting high-quality care.
• Assist in patient transport, group coordination, and discharge preparation.
