Job summary

Ascension Kokomo in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Behavioral Health support professional to join the night shift. You will build therapeutic connections, assist patients with daily living, and observe behavioral changes to help the clinical team tailor treatment plans.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or related degree), BLS certification within 30 days, and preferred CPI Crisis Prevention or Nurse Aide credentials.

Qualifications

• Required Credential: BLS Provider within 1 Month of hire date; AHA or ARC accepted.
• Preferred CPI Crisis Prevention credential for safer behavioral health support.
• Indiana Nurse Aide credential is preferred for clinical assistance.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Preferred Credential(s):
• Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention credentialed from the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI).
• Nurse Aide credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
