Zusammenfassung

Ascension St. Vincent Kokomo is seeking an Emergency Department assistant to deliver compassionate bedside care and assist patients with daily needs in a fast-paced ED setting.

You will safely position and transport patients, monitor changes in condition, report to nursing staff, and help keep rooms clean and stocked for rapid response, contributing to timely tests and care transitions. This PRN, rotating schedule role offers on-site, community-based healthcare experience in Kokomo, Indiana.

Qualifikationen

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required; education may be substituted with licensure/certification.

What minimum qualifications you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Nurse Aide.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
