Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Night Shift Nursing Aide in Kokomo, IN to provide bedside care and support the rehabilitation team. You will assist patients with personal needs and mobility, while communicating changes to nursing staff and documenting progress.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 1 year of relevant experience, and a current BLS certification; Nurse Aide credential is preferred. Ascension offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Nurse Aide.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
