The role emphasizes behavioral health and substance use treatment, with a 32-hour day shift and weekend/holiday rotation. An MA RN license is required; BSN preferred, CPR certified, with inpatient/psychiatric experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts, BSN preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities.
• Understanding of Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in the healthcare team, providing direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
• Assess patients' physical and psychological condition throughout the continuum of care.
• Apply the nursing process in alignment with TaraVista Behavioral Health Center's philosophy, objectives, values and mission.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in TaraVista's core values.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop, implement and document goals and interventions informed by patient strengths and psychiatric issues.
