Job summary

TaraVista Behavioral Health in Devens, MA is seeking an RN for a 32-hour schedule (7:00a–3:30p) with weekend and holiday rotation. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, assess patients, and participate in developing and documenting individualized care plans.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed care and crisis intervention in a behavioral health setting. The ideal candidate holds an MA RN license with CPR certification and has experience in psychiatric or substance use disorders

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities.
• Understanding of the Trauma Informed Recovery model of care.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Experience in psychiatric or substance use disorders inpatient settings with restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention.
• Strong crisis and time management skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' physical and psychological condition throughout the continuum of care.
• Provide direct and indirect care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to treatment planning by developing, implementing, and documenting goals and interventions.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu consistent with TaraVista Behavioral Health Center values.
• Support patients and families, including crisis management as needed.
