BayCare Health Systems is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN to join our team at St Josephs North Behavioral Health in Lutz, FL. The Clinical Nurse II will provide direct patient care in a Behavioral Health setting, using the nursing process to ensure high standards and patient safety.

Qualifications include RN licensure and BLS, with 2 years of RN experience. The role includes night shifts, weekends every other, and opportunities for professional development and tuition reimbursement.

• Required - BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

• Facility: St Josephs Hospital North
• Location: Lutz, FL
• Status: Full time, 36 hours per week
• Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 86:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Shift: Nights
• Weekend Work: Every Other
• On Call: No

The Clinical Nurse II is responsible for:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• The Clinical Nurse II performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Certifications and Licensures:

• Required - BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Required - RN (Registered Nurse)
• Preferred - Nurse Specialty

Education :

• Required - Associate's or Diploma in Nursing
• Preferred - Bachelor's in Nursing

Experience:

• Required - 2 years' experience as a licensed RN and completion of all Clinical Nurse Requirements
