BayCare seeks an experienced Behavioral Health Charge RN to join St Joseph's North Behavioral Health in Lutz, FL. The role leads nursing staff, ensures patient care quality, and participates in unit operations in a full-time day-shift setting.

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced a Behavioral Health Charge RN to join our outstanding and compassionate team at St Joseph's North Behavioral Health in Lutz, FL !

• Facility: St Joseph's North Behavioral Health
• Location: Lutz, FL
• Status: Full-Time, Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Shift: Days
• Weekend Work: Every Other
• On Call: No

The Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.

The Charge Nurse is responsible for:

• Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team.
• Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse)
• Nurse Specialty - preferred

Required Education:

• Bachelor's in Nursing - Required or approved psych certification obtained within 7 months of hire.

Experience:

• 2 year RN in an Acute Care Setting
• 1 year of leadership experience - Preferred
