Job summary

BayCare Health Systems is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN to join Winter Haven Hospital Behavioral Health in Winter Haven, FL. The Clinical Nurse II will provide direct patient care, supervise other staff, and act as preceptor and charge nurse as needed.

Requirements include 2 years of RN experience, Associate's or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), and active RN license with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.
• RN licensure required; BLS certification required.
• Nurse specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other healthcare team members.
• Serve as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned; maintain professional accountability and development.

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced Behavioral Health RN to join our outstanding and compassionate team at Winter Haven Hospital Behavioral Health in Winter Haven, FL!

• Facility: Winter Haven Behavioral Health
• Location: Winter Haven, FL
• Status: Full time, 36 hours per week
• Exempt: No
• Shift Hours: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Shift: Days
• Weekend Work: Every Other
• On Call: No

The Clinical Nurse II is responsible for:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• The Clinical Nurse II performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Certifications and Licensures:

• Required - BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Required - RN (Registered Nurse)
• Preferred - Nurse Specialty

Education :

• Required - Associate's or Diploma in Nursing
• Preferred - Bachelor's in Nursing

Experience:

• Required - 2 years' experience as a licensed RN and completion of all Clinical Nurse Requirements
