Job summary

BayCare Health Systems is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist Pool to join our Morton Plant North Bay Recover Center- Behavioral Health in Lutz, FL. This pool position supports patient assessments, individual, group and family therapy, and discharge planning during assigned shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with weekend shifts available.

Master's degree in Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
• 2 years clinical related experience or 9 month internship.
• Licensure: LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW preferred; BLS required; Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Meeting with patients to complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and individual, group and family therapy as deemed appropriate for each patient.
• Conducting case management activities including discharge planning and documentation.
• Providing appropriate therapeutic interventions and knowledge of community resources.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

• Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Weekend Work: Every, weekend only shifts

The Behavioral Health Therapist I is responsible for:

• Meeting with patients to complete psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, as well as individual, group and family therapy as deemed appropriate for each individual patient.
• Conducting case management activities as well as discharge planning and maintains appropriate documentation.
• Providing appropriate therapeutic and educational interventions, services and is knowledgeable about community resources.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

* This role requires a Master's prepared in the field of Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy, or other related field.
