Job summary

Gosnold, Inc. seeks a Recovery Aide in Wareham, MA for a 40‑hour work week. You will act as the liaison between staff, support patients, and assist with group sessions in a behavioral health setting. Requires 1–3 years of customer service and relevant experience in addiction/mental health.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in addiction or mental health preferred.
• Ability to cover multiple shifts, including weekends.
• Comfort speaking in front of larger groups.

Responsibilities

• Monitor high-risk patients and support engagement to reduce recovery-interfering behaviors.
• Conduct specialty groups such as Under 30, Relapse Prevention (WRAP) and YAOPs; document attendance.
• Track and complete program evaluations; report data to leadership.
• Relate and communicate effectively with patients in a treatment setting.
• Participate in recovery-oriented socialization and monitor patient activity.
• Document observations and participation in patient records and logs.
• Work closely with the counseling team.
• Meet with patients individually when appropriate.
• Uphold Gosnold’s values and policies, especially boundaries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
