Job summary

Gosnold, Inc. in Wareham, MA seeks a Recovery Aide to act as the lead liaison among staff, assisting patients and families in the behavioral health system to enhance recovery and promote wellness.

Initial placement is in Falmouth with relocation to Wareham this Fall. The role requires experience/education in addiction and the ability to work in a high‑stress, fast‑paced environment, including weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in addiction or mental health field is preferred.
• Ability to cover multiple shifts including weekends.
• Comfort speaking in front of larger groups.

Responsibilities

• Monitor high‑risk patients and support engagement.
• Conduct specialty groups (Under 30, WRAP, YAOPs) and document attendance.
• Track program evaluations and report to leadership.
• Relate to patients and communicate effectively in a treatment setting.
• Participate in recovery-oriented socialization and monitor activities.
• Document observations and activities in patient records and logs.
• Support counseling team and meet with patients individually.
• Uphold Gosnold’s policies and boundaries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
