Job summary

Mainline Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Behavioral Health Manager to supervise the Behavioral Health Case Management team and ensure efficient case management and care coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
• At least 3 years in behavioral health or social service case management.
• Strong knowledge of behavioral health documentation and integrated care workflows.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Experience linking patients to community resources and enabling services.
• Proficiency with MS Office and eClinical software.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Grant management experience preferred.
• FQHC or school-based behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, schedule, evaluate staff; assist with training.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Oversee caseload assignments for equitable workloads.
• Monitor discharge planning and documentation.
• Monitor timeliness of patient referrals and telephone contacts.
• Track no-show rates and scheduling issues; improve attendance.
• Support outreach, community relations and public relations activities.
• Assist with grant proposals, tracking and reporting of funded activities.
• Clerical tasks: scheduling, reminders, updating contacts, prior authorizations.
• Educate patients about MHS services as needed.
• Assist with care coordination and referrals to resources.
• Complete screeners and enter plans in visit notes.
• Make follow-up calls to support treatment adherence.
• Coordinate Integrated Care services with multiple disciplines.
• Assist Behavioral Health Consultants with treatment goals.
• Participate in Quality Improvement and Quality Assurance activities.
• Support the care team and patient-centered medical home workflows.
• Engage in Risk Management activities.
