Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Counselor to help patients achieve social, educational, and occupational goals while guiding them toward a drug‑free life. You will report to the Counselor Supervisor or Program Director and work within licensed or credentialed practice guidelines.

The role involves conducting individual and group counseling, developing treatment plans, and coordinating with community providers.

Qualifications

• Master’s level training in counseling or related field.
• Licensure or credentials as listed (ADDC, LPCC, MFTC, LSW, LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
• Experience in behavioral health preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular alcohol and drug abuse counseling sessions and group sessions.
• Orient patients to program operations and procedures.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans with comprehensive records.
• Make referrals and perform follow‑ups.
• Coordinate care with community providers as needed.
• Provide crisis intervention and in‑service training.
