Job summary

Behavioral Health Group (BHG) in Colorado is looking for a licensed Counselor to help patients identify strengths and work toward a drug-free life. You will conduct individual and group sessions, develop treatment plans, and coordinate care with the supervisory team.

Reporting to the Counselor Supervisor or Program Director, you will ensure compliance with program policies, regulatory requirements, and licensing standards while supporting patients’ educational and vocational goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Current counseling credentials/licensure required per state regulations.
• Experience in behavioral health preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular individual and group counseling sessions.
• Develop and revise patient treatment plans with comprehensive records.
• Coordinate care with community providers and supervise staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, local regulations and accrediting standards.
