Job summary

Ritter Center in San Rafael, CA is seeking a Behavioral Health Clinical Coordinator to support coordinated, patient-centered care within the Behavioral Health Team. This full-time, non-exempt role reports to the Clinical Director and works from the main Campus, handling front-office operations, referrals, insurance verification, and scheduling with a focus on compassionate, culturally responsive service.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of multi-line telephone experience and/or experience as medical receptionist with scheduling and telephone experience.
• At least three (3) years of experience in a healthcare setting including experience in private practice, or a Community Health Center, is preferred
• Experience serving as a patient advocate, working effectively with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural responsiveness, and providing high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities

• Front Office: manage patient flow, answer clinic calls, schedule and document visits.
• Enter patient data into EHR/SmartCare and verify insurance eligibility.
• Coordinate referrals and arrange transportation as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
