Job summary

Community Solutions for Children, Families, and Individuals is seeking a Clinical Coordinator I – Behavioral Health to supervise clinical activities, coordinate staff and services, and ensure contract compliance. The role focuses on group, family, and individual therapy with emphasis on empowerment and advocacy for victims and individuals with mental health or substance use needs.

The position is based in the Santa Clara County area with a hybrid work option between our Gilroy and San Jose

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in mental health profession.
• Minimum of two years direct client work experience.
• Experience with mental health and/or substance use issues.
• Experience collaborating with County services to meet agency/contract requirements.
• Bilingual and bicultural is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and program coordination to meet client needs and contract requirements.
• Coordinates staff and clinical activities; reports to Program Manager and Coordinators.
• Assigns schedules and monitors caseloads in partnership with managers for staff and interns.
• Reviews charts weekly to ensure audit readiness and supports audit practices.
• Maintains program statistics and reports progress to the manager.
• Supervises interns and waivered staff; handles orientation and training.
• Ensures Medi-Cal and non Medi-Cal procedures and timely referrals and documentation.
• Attends meetings and contributes to quality improvement and team development.
