Job summary

Men’s Health Foundation is seeking a Behavioral Health Coordinator to manage referrals, support continuity of care, and assist patients navigating Behavioral Health services. This role emphasizes non-clinical care coordination, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Clinic Administration, you will coordinate with Behavioral Health clinicians and other departments to ensure timely access to services and smooth referral workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in psychology, social work, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum two years of healthcare or behavioral health administrative experience; patient access or care coordination preferred.
• Experience with patient registration, scheduling, insurance eligibility, referrals, and EHR/EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage internal and external Behavioral Health referrals from receipt through completion.
• Maintain oversight of referral status and conduct timely follow-ups with patients and providers.
• Assist patients with navigating barriers to care and coordinating next steps.
