Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Aurora, CO seeks a dedicated Behavior Therapist or RBT to provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, following ESDM and ABA standards.

You will collaborate with Masters-level clinicians to implement individualized intervention plans, update families on progress, and pursue RBT certification with paid training. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, loan repayment, and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT certification.
• Enrollment in or completion of a degree program; bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
• Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification (training provided by Soar)
• Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children
• Must have reliable transportation to training location and local center; punctuality essential
• Must meet physical requirements: sit/stand, lift up to 50 lbs, sit/kneel, etc.
• Computer and tablet literacy
• Ability to work on a team

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's high standards
• Implement intervention plans crafted by our Masters-level clinicians, ensuring alignment with ABA therapy principles
• Foster relationships with families, updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework
• Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification
