Job summary

InBloom Autism Services in Wallingford, CT is hiring both new Behavior Therapists (BTs) and experienced Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to join our diverse, supportive team.

You will provide one-on-one therapy across centers, homes and schools, implement Behavior Intervention Plans, collect data, monitor progress, and collaborate with BCBAs to help children develop communication and social skills. On-the-job training and RBT certification support are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must meet BACB eligibility to obtain RBT certification.
• Ability to pass the required RBT certification exam within the training period.
• Maintain RBT certification through the BACB.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Care: provide one-on-one therapy in Centers, homes and schools.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) set by BCBAs.
• Data Collection: record data on client behaviors and responses.
• Progress Monitoring with BCBAs to track progress and adjust plans.
• Behavior Reduction Techniques as outlined in BIPs.
• Skill Acquisition: help clients develop functional, communication and social skills.
• Parent/Caregiver Training to support at-home interventions.
• Maintain professionalism and client confidentiality.
• Complete required paperwork, progress reports and session notes.
• Maintain open communication with BCBAs, parents/caregivers and team members.
