Job summary

InBloom Autism Services in Chandler, AZ is hiring Behavior Therapists (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to deliver 1:1 therapy across centers, homes, and schools. You will implement BIPs, collect data, and collaborate with BCBAs to help children progress.

New BTs can receive paid on-the-job training and support to obtain RBT certification within 30 days; experienced RBTs will join a dedicated team with growth opportunities and a fun, creative work culture.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children and helping others.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must meet all BACB eligibility requirements to obtain RBT certification.
• Ability to pass the required RBT certification exam within the training period.
• Must obtain and maintain required RBT certification through the BACB.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Care: Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings including our Centers, homes and/or schools.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs): Follow the behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs to address specific behavioral goals and objectives for each client.
• Data Collection: Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Progress Monitoring: Collaborate with the supervising BCBAs to track and report client progress towards behavioral goals and adjust intervention plans as needed.
• Behavior Reduction Techniques: Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies as outlined in the behavior intervention plan to address challenging behaviors.
• Skill Acquisition: Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
• Parent/Caregiver Training: Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques and strategies in the home environment.
• Professionalism: Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards in behavior analysis while maintaining client confidentiality.
• Documentation: Complete required paperwork, progress reports, and session notes.
• Communication: Maintain open communication with the BCBAs, parents/caregivers, and other team members involved in the client's treatment.
