Job summary

InBloom Autism Services in Connecticut is hiring both new and experienced Behavior Technicians (BTs/RBTs) to join a diverse team delivering 1:1 therapy and data collection in centers, homes, and schools.

New BTs receive paid on-the-job training with support to obtain RBT certification within 30 days; current RBTs contribute to programs with BCBAs, ensuring ethical, data-driven care for children with ASD.

Qualifications

• Must meet all BACB eligibility requirements to obtain RBT certification.
• Ability to pass the required RBT certification exam within the training period.
• Must obtain and maintain required RBT certification through the BACB.
• Demonstrated passion for working with children and helping others.

Responsibilities

• Direct Client Care: Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in centers, homes, and/or schools.
• Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by BCBAs.
• Data Collection: accurately record client behaviors and responses.
• Progress Monitoring with supervising BCBAs to track and adjust plans.
• Behavior Reduction Techniques as outlined in the plan.
• Skill Acquisition: help clients develop functional skills and communication.
• Parent/Caregiver Training to support home implementation.
• Maintain professional standards, confidentiality and documentation.
• Communication with BCBAs, parents, and team members involved in treatment.
