Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one intervention under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training to prepare you for success, with a focus on safety and mobility, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Join a dedicated team making a real difference in families' lives.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test (if not done in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sitting, standing, bending, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in onboarding and training.
