Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while promoting safety and engagement.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and patience, with comprehensive training provided.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test as part of onboarding.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RBT Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Ensure safety and well-being of clients; adapt activities as needed.
