Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism by implementing individualized intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will work one-on-one, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while using evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion required to support children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Assist with training and support for families and team.
