Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the guidance of a BCBA, implementing individualized plans and using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided, and candidates should be patient and team-oriented. The role involves physical activity and can require lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required after onboarding.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support client's progress.
