Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing personalized behavior plans under a BCBA's supervision. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods, while maintaining a patient, team-friendly approach.

The role emphasizes hands-on support, ongoing training, and a rewarding impact on children and families.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Must be patient, compassionate and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR/First Aid certification and a tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
