Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children diagnosed with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the direction of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

The role requires patience, teamwork, and a passion for helping children reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certifications and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Join a team and participate in training to support client progress.
• Assist with daily tasks and ensure safety during activities.
