Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team and help children with autism reach their full potential. You will work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills and reduce disruptive behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. The pay range is $18–$24 per hour, with opportunities for growth and continued learning within a structured career path.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test within the last year.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in roles like Behavioral Technician, Teacher's Aide, Tutor, CNA, Caregiver or Home Health Aide is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills and reduce interfering behaviors.
