Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients under a BCBA and implement individualized plans to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

You will join a supportive team, receive comprehensive training, and gain experience in behavioral analysis while ensuring safety as you assist children who may be unpredictable. Pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with the team.
• Join a dedicated team focused on improving lives of children with autism.
