Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, values-based teamwork, and opportunities to growth. Pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour, depending on experience, certification level, and education,

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age with high school/GED.
• CPR and First Aid certifications plus TB test when required.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors to support child progress.
• Contribute to a caring, team-based environment and impact families positively.
