Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism. Implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

We provide comprehensive training; you will join a collaborative team. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to stand/walk and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay range listed: $18–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate and a team player.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RBT Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Be part of a team focused on improving outcomes for children with autism.
