Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; you will join a dedicated team that makes a meaningful impact on children and their families.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Able to work well in a team and be patient and compassionate.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Able to move and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with the BCBA.
• Stay patient, supportive, and collaborative in a dynamic clinical setting.
• Move and assist children as needed, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
