Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children using individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA. You will employ evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. The role includes physical activity as clients move, with duties requiring lifting up to 50 pounds and standing/walking as needed.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (within last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under supervision.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors while coordinating with a BCBA.
• Participate as part of a dedicated team to support each child and family.
