Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

Candidates should be patient and team-oriented; comprehensive training is provided. You must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and have a High school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and promote functional skills.
• Care for safety and comfort of children, adjusting activities as needed.
• Collaborate with team to ensure effective, consistent support for clients.
