Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans, teach communication and social skills, and apply evidence-based techniques to reduce challenging behaviors in a supportive team.

We provide comprehensive training to empower you, even if you lack prior experience. Expect a physically active role with children who may move and weigh up to 50 pounds.

Formación

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and compassionate, able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (if not done in last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Support children with autism to reach their full potential in a team environment.
