Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Training is provided; candidates must obtain RBT certification after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Follow guidance from a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children with autism in a safe, respectful environment; assist with movement and daily activities as needed.
