Job summary

Axis Therapy Centers is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician for a full-time, clinic-based role. You will work one-on-one and in small groups with children and teens, helping them build communication, social, and daily living skills while supporting positive behaviors.

No certification required — we’ll train you and support your path toward RBT certification. Join a warm, collaborative team and grow with BCBAs, OTs, and SLPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Patience, energy, and a team-first attitude.
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs (preferred, but we’ll train you!).
• Ability to engage in the physical demands of a hands-on pediatric setting.

Responsibilities

• Working directly with kids to build communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Supporting positive behaviors and guiding children through challenges with patience and consistency.
• Implementing individualized treatment plans designed by your supervising BCBA.
• Tracking and recording client progress so the team can celebrate growth and adjust support when needed.
• Collaborating closely with families, caregivers, and our multidisciplinary team.
• Attending regular trainings so you always feel confident and prepared in your role.
