Job summary

Axis Therapy Centers in West Des Moines, IA is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our clinic-based team. You will work one-on-one and in small groups with children and teens to help them build communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior ABA certification? We'll train you from the ground up and support you toward your RBT certification, with mentoring, paid training, and ongoing supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs preferred; training available.
• Willing to pursue RBT certification with employer support.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one and in small groups with children to build communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support positive behaviors and guide children with patience and consistency.
• Implement individualized treatment plans designed by supervising BCBA.
• Track and record client progress for team review and adjustments.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary team; participate in trainings.
