Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's guidance, using evidence-based techniques to develop communication, social, and daily living skills while minimizing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided; you’ll join a team dedicated to improving lives. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and a TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Mobility to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavior intervention under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Support clients in reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with BCBA and care team to implement individualized plans.
