Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing tailored behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squad, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with caregivers and BCBA.
• Provide comprehensive training and support to ensure proper application of intervention plans.
